Emily Richardson is a flutist who frequently performs across Canada with ensembles including the Red Deer Symphony, Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra, and Peterborough Singers. In 2018, she was selected as a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada and toured to Germany and Scotland. 

Equally comfortable in new and early music, Emily has both premiered new compositions and plays historical instruments. She especially enjoys the works of J.S. Bach. In 2023, she performed selections from his Orchestral Suite  No. 2 with the Trinity Bach Project.

After receiving numerous degrees in performance, Emily teaches flute to all ages. She tailors her lessons to every student, and loves being able to "nerd out" about music and share her passion.
